Nice blur pun, BTW. 🙂 In this case I put one foot firmly on each side of that line by actually painting the background on paper and photographing it so I could use it as a background. The colors were perfect to accompany my image of the rhododendron and bumble bee and I love the result. Thanks for commenting! 🙂


    • Thank you. 🙂 I’m at the very beginning of my watercolor journey and enjoy it, but for the past year my photography has monopolized my time. I had fun with this image, morphing a photographic image into a watercolor background. I use watercolor textures quite a lot with my photo images but as overlays rather than as backgrounds, so it’s not as obvious when I use them, but when they work well they can really take an image to the next level…
