Yvoire, France

Yvoire is a small, walled medieval town situated on the south shore of Lake Geneva, in France. It ranks among the most beautiful villages in France and dates back to the early 14th century. Inside the village walls, the streets are also flanked with high stone walls connecting fortified houses to keep the early residents safe. It was a beautiful location to visit, and we had a great lunch and a lovely view at the restaurant located right at the village gate, to the right of the building with the red flowers out front.
